— 419 EAST 72 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Location is killer Cons: Old not well maintained building. The common areea is never cleaned by management. Numerous chipped tiles on stairway and the walls are filthy.. The garbage outdoor overflows ad least 2 times a week. Advice to landlord: Spend the money get a professional porter and renovate the common areas.”
— 419 EAST 72 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nothing to recommend but proximity to Q train Cons: Landlord raised the rent last March in spite of the pandemic! No decreases offered!!! Garbage and cleanliness is minimal Advice to landlord: Don’t increase rent and then provide zero upgrades to the building or tenants especially during the pandemic!! This is the worst building on the block monitor other neighbors who dump their garbage or dog poo at the building too!”
— 419 EAST 72 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Responsive and relaxed management company, pest free, perfect location, well kept for the most part, nice quiet neighbors Cons: Space is small but it’s NYC so that’s expected, outdated appliances/finishes, if you live on the south side of the building it can be noisy from the busy street, hallways could use some updating/fresh paint, sometimes garbage outside is overflowing Advice to landlord: Maybe have the garbage removed more often to prevent overflow”
