Unit 10 Pros: great neighborhood and some cool people live in the building Cons: THE HEAT DOES NOT WORK IN THE WINTER.. YOU WILL BE MISERABLE. I had to call 311 several times and eventually move to a friend's place to stay for a while. Also: rats in the units, VERY loud neighborhood (the windows do not block any noise whatsoever!!), appliances don't work properly, response rates from the management are not great and the super who comes to fix things doesn't speak a word of English which can be tough, move-in date was pushed back 3 days... every day they said it would be done and I could move in the next day but then I would go and it was STILL not even repainted yet. This caused me to become homeless for a few days and cost me over $1000 for having to cancel the movers last minute twice!!! Also, when I finally moved in there were wiry pubic hairs painted into the walls and bugs also painted against the walls with dust - there was no cleaning done before I moved in. Advice to landlord: take better care of your tenants and the apartments: turn on the heat when it's cold and don't be cheap, HAVE THE APARTMENTS READY ON MOVE IN DAY, pest management (they never reply to anyone's complaints seriously), update windows because some of them don't even shut all the way, update appliances, have apartments cleaned before painting them for next tenant so no bugs, dust, and hair painted into the walls!

Unit 28 Pros: The roof view is amazing, but you cannot even make it nice because the neighbors will just steal/trash any furnishings you leave there. The location is convenient if you’re an active young person, but now the area is getting very touristy and giving midtown vibes. Cons: The building is quite literally infested with bed bugs, cockroaches and rats. The building smells like dead rats constantly, it is absolutely filthy and the landlords are the prime definition of “slum” lords and will do absolutely nothing about it. They will not cover the cost for an exterminator either. They will send someone who has no idea what they are doing and are probably family members of the landlord and the rodents/insects always come back until you hire your own professional exterminator. Their handymen that they send for any issues are extremely under qualified and you will need to hire someone to fix it yourself. The landlords have no regard for basic human sanitation and will tell you to move if you don’t like jt. The price is not worth it. Save yourself the headache and horror. Advice to landlord: Find a new occupation.

Pros: Wonderful location, a true 1-bedroom layout, lots of closet space and a nice bathroom Cons: Awful and unresponsive management (no super). Dirty and smelly lobby (trash room is disgusting and rats commonly rummage through it). Mice in the sink cabinet and rats in the walls/ceiling. Very thin walls and loud neighbors. Heat was turned on way too far into the cold season and turned off too far in to the warm season. Walls need to be maintained and the entire building needs a huge facelift truthfully (water stains in walls from leaks, etc). NO BUZZER… IN 2022? Stolen packages. Advice to landlord: Get a super. Get a buzzer. Maintain the building and have it CLEANED once in awhile. Have management that don’t shrug off concerns about mice and rats in the units. Have management that actually want to help tenants.
