“Pros: Neighborhood is friendly Cons: Elevator often doesn’t work Heat goes out Unresponsive management Stolen packages Lack of promised security cameras Advice to landlord: Attention to tenant needs and building safety”
— 3660 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Unit 58 Pros: Elevator building, Love the location, honestly absolutely loved living here Cons: The mail situation was a lot some times but generally it was okay”
— 3660 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Pros: Nice location in West Harlem, in-unit washer dryer Cons: When we moved in there was no cooking gas for 69 days, no closet doors or crossbars, and the apartment was filthy (crumbs, urine, stains, garbage, roaches, mice, water damage, and more), and old radiators that sound like idling truck engines when the heat turns on. Management is lazy and ignores tenants who raise issues, and tries to charge late fees for withheld rent even when tenants have documentation supporting the withholding. Advice to landlord: Don't lease apartments that aren't ready to be lived in and then ignore those tenants for seven months when they take issue”
— 3660 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Unit 25 Pros: Consistent pest control, prompt maintenance, maintained lobby Cons: Heat was at 60 degrees all winter with no help from management. Noise from the Dominican restaurant below is very loud and shakes the floors.”
“Unit 64 Pros: The updated kitchen in my unit is my favorite part. Deep tub with nice tile design on the shower wall. Plenty of space and natural light. Cons: No buzzer in apt. Management is not very responsive, depending on who you get. Lived on the 6th floor with no working elevator for a year. Front door to building is usually unlocked and packages get stolen. Advice to landlord: Take better care of the buildings common areas because the apartment is nice and tenants who pay their rent in full on time are paying for those amenities such as a safe entryway and an elevator.”
— 3660 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Unit 57 Pros: I like the location. Cons: The rent increased by about 30%, but yet sometimes the elevator goes out of service and maintenance requests are not always the most timely. Advice to landlord: A 30% rent increase is not always feasible for all tenants.”
— 3660 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Pros: Lived in the apartment for three years, honestly was fine for most of it. Noise levels were good. Cons: Pests began to come and would be leave. Management was very slow to respond. Had a radiator leak they took months to fix it. Elevator was out months at a time. Ended up moving after that.”
— 3660 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Pros: Apartment is renovated. Large kitchen island, spacious, deep bath tub, quiet residents. Good restaurants near by. Cons: Living on 6th floor with no working elevator for a year. Management takes a while to respond. No buzzer for the front door. Advice to landlord: Help us to be good tenants by giving us the amenities we are paying for and communication in a timely manner.”
— 3660 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Pros: - the apartments are nice and the one I lived in was renovated - One of the maintenance guys, Nana, is THE BEST. Super responsive and will help you with anything you need in the apartment Cons: - the elevator was, and probably still is, broken for 2+ years and management didn’t care. I lived on a 6th floor walk up. So many people with disabilities were forced to move. It’s the worst. - there is RAMPANT package theft and management does nothing except post flyers in the building. The theft would have stopped if they’d fix the elevators so that delivery ppl could come upstairs, but they didn’t do that.”
