“Unit 5f Pros: Everything is in good shape, I like the neighborhood. Good price too. Cons: Smallish living room”
— 1219 1 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: I loved the buildings location, there was laundry in the basement (need quarters). There was roof access (nothing there but a great view and people would gather there). A little small for an apartment but nice sunlight in bedroom Cons: When I was moving out the owners were a little aggressive about showings but otherwise not too many cons. Once had a mouse problem that was promptly dealt with.”
— 1219 1 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Location: nice neighborhood. Landlord very personable and helpful. Cons: No elevator. Bedrooms small. Advice to landlord: Stay as pleasant and responsive as you are!”

— 1219 1 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: -The building is beautiful -The maintenance staff is almost always in the building so any requests are resolved within 24-48 hours -Laundry in the building -Close to subway and nearby shopping Cons: -The building is right off of 1st Ave so the traffic can be noisy at times -The building is relatively easy to access (key lock/buzzer) so any packages need to be retrieved in a timely manner for peace of mind”

— 1219 1 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: No pests, large staircase, roof access, safe neighborhood, hardwood floors, crown molding Cons: No elevator, unhelpful management, noisy location by hospital”
— 1219 1 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: I have none... Cons: This was a prearranged living set up for me with random roommates... I literally cried when I saw the apartment for the first time. Very low standards here - extremely poor management. Packages are always stolen. If you try to report it, they’ll tell you to “be nice to the other tenants so they don’t steal your stuff”. Direct quote from the landlord. There’s also an elderly woman that is a tenant and there have been multiple occurrences where she was belligerent.. wandering around outside the building or even one time where she was running around naked and the police had to be called. I’ve also tried to reach out to management about noise complaints and I was told to “call the cops but don’t let the loud tenant know it’s me so there won’t be any issues”. I mean the list goes on and on.... basically if you’re desperate to find a place this will suffice, but would not recommend to anyone. Best of luck! Advice to landlord: Actually give a shit about your tenants - these past 2 years have been miserable. Also clean the common areas!!! This place hasn’t been sanitized in ages... it’s gross.”
