“Unit 3k Pros: - maintenance is so so quick to fulfill requests - doormen are nice - never once seen a bug in my apartment in two years of living here Cons: - far from the subway - a bit noisy with the hospital nearby”

— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Staff was super friendly, it felt very safe, and management was super responsive. Small gym and rooftop access was a plus Cons: A bit old feeling, hallways are dingy, appliances need to be updated etc. Advice to landlord: Update!”
“Pros: 24/7 doorman and elevator. They are always responsive when you need something. Cons: SO loud, no matter the floor or side of the building. Sirens 24/7. Also they say you’re allowed to flex the apartments but they don’t mean it. They always say no furniture in the flex room and that two people shouldn’t be living in a one bedroom.”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Very clean building and building staff are awesome. No issues with laundry or any issues with appliances. Easy to get maintenance work done through their online portal. Cons: I can hear the upstairs neighbours bed throughout the night. Ownership did very little to help.”

— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The area feels safe and doorman building. Reasonable rent did not increase per year. When there were complaints things were handled timely. Cons: Construction for the past year and pretty noisy on upper levels.”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Incredibly friendly staff, from the lobby to the maintenance folks. Well maintained building. Responsive to any issues. The rooftop isn't finished, but can see that it's gonna be good when it is. Sometimes the construction can be an inconvenience, but the building is continuously being improved on so you benefit from it either way. Cons: It's the same typical NYC apartment issue where the winter gets hot regardless. Never used the heat once in the years we lived here. Sometimes your neighbors are obnoxious, but what are you gonna do? All and all, a good place to live.”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 7N Pros: Responsive building management, great doormen/women, Cons: between apartments can sometimes be noisy, building work sometimes takes much longer than it should down graded gym epuiptment for an already small space Advice to landlord: give better notice when emergency work happens”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Clean, nice staff, spacious apartments with a lot of closet space Cons: A bit noisy from the streets depending on which direction your unit faces, but that’s also NYC for you”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 16D Pros: It was SO clean and the whole management is just so nice. The doormen personally recognize you and repair men come literally the minute you put a request in. Cons: Flex walls are not allowed to go to the ceiling/no plexiglass Advice to landlord: None”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Responsiveness to maintenance Clean lobby Friendly staff Cons: Small gym Old appliances”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The building was very well kept! Had zero problems with pests Cons: One of the doormans can be quite rude. There was a humidity problem with one of the walls. Probably some internal piping problem, they took forever to fix it. Advice to landlord: Address apartment repairs in a timely manner”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The doormen are very nice and helpful. The building is well tended to and space feels clean. Cons: The gym is almost too small to utilize, and I wish the lobby has seating/ any decorations or plants lol Advice to landlord: Add plants to the lobby …”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The building is accesible to so much public transit and was recently renovated. Management is responsive / always around and the building is kept very clean. Cons: There were ocasional pest sightings and the basement laundry had traps for mice, it that’s to be expected in NY. It can get loud sometimes depending on your neighbors. The heat in my apartment worked but I never turned it on because there was a hot water pipe running through my room that made it really warm in the winter so I usually opened a window.”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Any issues are taken care of ASAP Can submit maintenance requests, guest access, rent payments, etc through their building link portal. Cons: There’s been Construction going on for about 4 years. Advice to landlord: No advice to owner”
— 340 EAST 34 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Doormen. Super. Location. Bathroom/Condo. Gym. Cleanliness. Rooftop. 2nd Fl garden. Lobby Cons: Nothing everything about this building is amazing!!! Advice to landlord: Love this building”
