“Pros: Relatively clean. Good appliances. Good commute to midtown. Good location Cons: Had a cockroach problem, management was responsive in sending exterminators but issue never went away. Apartment bedrooms were very small and at the time (pre-COVID) prices were way too high. I left the apartment perfectly clean when I moved and they charged us 180 bucks or so from our deposit for cleaning, which was 100% a scam we just didn’t have any pictures of the place when we left. Advice to landlord: Don’t mess around with the deposits. Fix the bug problem. Prices should reflect one bedroom essentially being a closet/small office.”

“Pros: - good location - newish appliances - laundry in building - front desk person but only for certain times of the week. Cons: - rude live-in landlord - SUPER LOUD area. Construction all the time on the street and in the building. - SUPER LOUD neighbors. Murray hill is frat investment boy central. Parties starting Thursday night until Saturday. Very loud. No. - TINY apartments for the price. My room was literally a box. (My fault for not measuring the room beforehand. Always do this!!) - bad communication between landlord and tenants. During Covid, i asked to negotiate contract and never heard from them. - took more than the NY-mandated 14 days to give back deposit. Super wishy-washy and kept avoiding us. Called them multiple times and was hung up on. Super shady. Heard this happened to multiple people too. Advice to landlord: Get it together and stop scamming peoples deposit money!!!!”
