“Pros: Nice, newly updated appliances Rooms have been recently painted and maintained Cons: Most fixes within apartment are responsibility of tenant (which is illegal regarding appliances installed by property owner). Maintenance comes into unit without warning or advance notice. Advice to landlord: Hire a super”

“Pros: This apartment is in a nice and safe area with a renovated interior. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. Cons: The building management never addresses maintenance issues, it takes multiple times of contacting to even speak to someone and they are typically dismissive. The trash outside is disgusting and there are constant notices on the door from the city about cleaning it up and fines. There has been construction in the building hallways since Fall of 2024. Across the street there is construction every night at a school until 11pm which is extremely loud. The washing machine does not work in unit.”

“Pros: Location, location, location Cons: Dirty, cramped, crappy renovations.”

“Pros: Wonderful location, Quiet-tree lined street. No noise from the school gymnasium or park across the street. Washer + Dryer in Unite Cons: Landlords are impossible to contact and difficult to get to fix anything. Oftentimes ignore and let themselves in. We always had things broken as the building was under construction for 14 months, often times we would come home to drywall and brick dust to be over all of our belongings from upstairs.”

“Unit 9 Pros: Location is good Cons: There is no super It is really hard to communicate with management Dust from the walls falls all the time Apartments were renovated and the bedrooms are less than 80 square feet Workers show up whenever they feel like and let themselves while you are home Stairs are very slippery Appliances that are supossed to be new are always breaking Washing machines shake the entire apartment and all the apartments surrounding you Advice to landlord: Get a super”

“Pros: Clean, nice area, decent sized kitchen Cons: Inaccessible landlord, no super, current LOUD unit renovation, NO HEAT Advice to landlord: Provide a real phone number and email for us to reach you at and actually fix the heat instead of gaslighting us into thinking it’s not really cold outside”
