“Unit 1D Pros: Building was well maintained, super and building manager lived in the building so service was quick Cons: Narrow hallways made it hard to move, walls can be kinda thin”
— 331 EAST 33 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 3A Pros: - Great location - Great amenities - Great neighbors - 4/5 Cons: - Packages get stolen - Heat won't turn off or on responsively - Communication could be better”
— 331 EAST 33 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 5D Pros: Top floor provides pretty good light Cons: -theft of deliveries both in the foyer and inside the locked doors indicating it's someone in the building: landlord refuses to put add a surveillance system -unresponsive to simple maintenance requests, excuses as to why no one can respond -when maintenance is done, it's often poorly executed. Super and landlord blame the tenant for issues that predate the tenant's occupancy. -super makes suggestive remarks to female tenants -emails from landlord are unprofessional, emotionally manipulative, and weird -landlord is a bully who has pressured neighbors -excessive rats because garbage is allowed to pile up for days especially on weekends -frequent gas leaks that go unattended to; once Con Ed was in the building and the landlord was telling tenants not to evacuate even though Con Ed said it was unsafe and everyone should leave Advice to landlord: Take a training in appropriate, professional customer service and up your game. It's not the old days any more where you can intimidate people just because you own a crappy building. .”
— 331 EAST 33 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Location. Right by the 34th st ferry and a pretty board walk. Grocery stores close: Trader Joe’s, fairway, target. It’s great for someone who like to walk. Cons: Can be noisy. Building has rooftop access (even for a walk up). Super is creepy. Makes suggestive comments to women - a smart woman will use this to her advantage. Management is slow to respond. The bldg manager I had has since left, but she lived in the building and even this she walked past the mess, nothing would get done unless someone said something. Some of the apts are short term housing. So a lot of people who don’t have any respect for people with real long term lease. Advice to landlord: So better.”
