“Pros: Decent sized apartments & hardwood floors Cons: Owners are effectively slumlords, extracting rent from tenants with little in return except harassing phone calls, unreliable heat and hot water, and frequent piles of trash. Beware that the “broker” for this building is really the son-in-law of the restaurant owner. He is not registered to as a broker in NY - any broker fee paid to him is illegal despite what he may say.”
