“Pros: Amenities like doorman, laundry in building for only $3 each load, small gym and rooftop Cons: They did not tell us the “home office” bedroom had no air conditioning.”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 9 Pros: I think this is a great building to live in if you work in an office. Elevator is a huge plus, decent space. Roof+gym fun. Cons: It’s boring and most living rooms do not have natural light. Super is hard to get in touch with and the management is a disaster Advice to landlord: Bother the org to get things fixed. They won’t pay attention to you unless you bug them and emphasize the problem.”
— 31 WEST 17 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Great to have in-unit and in-building washer and dryer. The rooftop is wonderful! Cons: The management company is not super responsive. Advice to landlord: Be more responsive”
— 31 WEST 17 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Quiet being on the back of the building! Amazing roof! Kitchen all works Amazing location!!! Cons: Shower is always clogged. But super comes fast, it must be a building issue. Halls are vacuumed but never seem so clean. Wish it was carpet. Feels priced a bit high like they know we’re gonna flex.”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: So quiet, doorman, rooftop is great Cons: Tiny space, super is a little rude/neurotic”

— 31 WEST 17 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: - Extremely convenient location (<10 minute walk to most major subway lines). - Responsive super. - Elevator opens right into apt. - Access to 30 W 18 St via underground passage. Cons: - Noisy and crowded area with little access to quiet or greenery. - Roof closed for renovations for 6 months longer than stated. - Limited natural light”

— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 7F Pros: Really enjoy living here. Can’t beat the location or the safety of a doorman building. Beautiful rooftop views. Super is very responsive and fixes things same day of reaching out. Only downside is very pricey for not so much space but that’s New York. Cons: pricy rent, almost every unit seems to be a flex so you’re paying for very little space.”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 4C Pros: 2 closets in 1 bedroom Cons: The unit is a true 1 bedroom - sold as a 3 bed flex and one of the “bedrooms” had no windows or AC… bc it’s a large closet.”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Elevator Helpful super Nice location Cons: For some reason my apartment collected dust really easily Also the laundry machines are dysfunctional Advice to landlord: Fix the laundry service”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nice doormen; laundry Cons: Not many windows; windows not clean”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Updated appliances, good AC/heat, rooftop with great views Cons: Elevators out of order a lot, not enough washer/dryers, broken treadmill in gym”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Location is ideal Cons: Expensive for what it is, issues with water and sink blockages.”
— 30 WEST 18 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Generally looks modern. Nice lobby attendants. Not many apts per floor. Multiple big closets and WIC. Has 1.5 bedroom apts with 2 full bathrooms. Cons: Kitchen cabinets quality very poor (vinyl peels off fronts and hinges break). Elevators break down often. Problems with water temperature (sometimes no hot water then sometimes scalding) and loss of water. Small basement gym and rooftop not looked after. Can hear when neighbors slam doors and play loud music. Machines in laundry room often broken or malfunctioning. Advice to landlord: Take better care of the whole building. Replace the old peeling kitchen cabinets with new fronts that aren’t vinyl.”
