“Pros: The building is in a good location, on the corner so gets a lot of sunlight, renovated, neighbors are nice Cons: YHT MANAGEMENT IS EXTREMELY NEGLIGENT !! Water heater was replaced recently and caused a gas leak, building had no hot water for 5 days and management was completely useless in fixing it. Also basement units have flooded multiple times! Advice to landlord: Please hire staff who are actually responsive and care about the tenants in the building. Your staff is extremely dismissive and treat tenants like a nuisance when we reach out about the (many) maintenance requests needed in the building.”
— 292 WILSON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 2L Pros: Location is great, close to the train and good places in Bushwick. Cons: Leaked every time it rained and they don't fix it, packages constantly get stolen and no one cares, people smoke in the stairs, and are loud as hell. It also took 2 weeks for them to fix our A/C. Advice to landlord: Please install security cameras and fix the leak problem.”

— 292 WILSON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: can't think of any pros tbh Cons: tiny apartment, clearly poorly and quickly built, dirty main area and stairway -never cleaned, garbage never taken care of. laundry room super dirty. the owners were not responsive to any issues and blocked many residents. mice issue. appliance issues.”
— 292 WILSON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Good location, central air works well Cons: Wouldn’t give me a key to my mailbox for 6+ months and I literally had to get a P.O. Box because I couldn’t receive any mail. They repeatedly lied to me and told me they were bringing it over today, eventually ignored my calls. Ignored most concerns I had. Washers and dryers don’t really work and you have to pay a lot for them, pretty much useless. Backyard and hallways were always dirty. They basically would not talk to me or any of my room mates because we were young and would only communicate with the parents of one girl, this made things really difficult seeing as I was actually in charge of the apartment. One time the fire alarms in the stairwells went off for almost two entire day on and off and their solution was to just get rid of all those smoke detectors so there’s no smoke detectors in the hallways and stairwell. Fridge stopped working and they repeatedly said they were sending a technician over and no technician arrived. Advice to landlord: It seems you don’t respect your younger tenants.”
— 292 WILSON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Central AC, control your own heat, close to several subway lines Cons: Washer dryers never worked, had mice problems and it took several phone calls to have management take it seriously. I also HATE the kitchen cabinets with hinges at the top. They broke often and I had to balance the door on my head to get anything out of them. Advice to landlord: Listen to tenets that come with problems and take them seriously even if they are young.”
