“Unit 2R Pros: The building has been renovated and feels modern and well-maintained. It features central AC and heat, which keeps the apartment comfortable year-round with easy temperature control. The appliances in the unit are in good condition and work well, though laundry is located in the basement rather than in-unit. The bedrooms and living area get plenty of natural sunlight during the day, which makes the space feel bright and open. There’s also a large shared yard in the back. The location is surrounded by grocery stores, restaurants, and places like Five Below, and it’s just a 5-minute walk to the DeKalb train stop, making commuting easy Cons: On the downside, the apartment lacks closet space entirely, which makes storage a challenge. There’s no built-in storage, so you’ll likely need to add wardrobes or other storage solutions. The entrance features a very long and narrow hallway, which creates a tight walk-in and makes the layout feel a bit cramped at first. While the main living areas open up nicely, the initial entryway might not be ideal”
— 272 HIMROD STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 2R Pros: No overriding complaints. The apartments are well-renovated compared to others in the area. Walls are paper thin: you will hear every time someone opens/closes their door or the building's front door. Cons: Could be cleaned better. Lots of issues related to being an old building (piping leaks, hot water, etc.) Advice to landlord: Building has improved in the time I’ve lived here.”
