“Pros: This building is simply beautiful to look at. All the young people in New York who are simply having the time of their lives are brought together because of this building! The residents combined with the patrons of the bar below make for a a beautiful crowd on weekend evenings. I love living here and wouldn’t want it any other way. Cons: The people living here are noisy because they’re having fun, but I have never had an experience where I hear any noise that is a bother. Sometimes the number of people in the restaurant below combined with the occasional noise of the nerves will blend and become louder. This is not a bad thing to describe the building with in my head however. I just can’t think of much more negative aspects that would apply to the experience of living here that makes a difference. Advice to landlord: Allow permanent roof access and rules to accompany if you’re so worried about such things!”

“Unit 5B Pros: sturdy stairs that are not steep, has butterfly MX Cons: loud pipes banging in wintertime Advice to landlord: get better at responding. when we email it takes almost 2 weeks for a response.”

“Pros: high ceilings, close to restaurants and stores Cons: No AC unit, rodent problem, packages were stolen”

“Pros: Big open kitchen in our apartment Lots of sunlight Cons: Packages were constantly stolen, anyone can come in/out of the building because of the phone intercom system they use. There are two fire stations close by so you will hear fire trucks at all hours, we had to buy a noise machine to sleep and it still wasn't enough. Be prepared for constant rent increases, just look at the rent history of each apartment on street easy. It took a month to get our deposit back and we only got it then because we referenced the NY law that states they're required to return the deposit within 14 days.”

“Pros: Good location, radiators were always super hot, quick response from management Cons: Tonsss of cockroaches even on the 6th floor (we had the exterminator come multiple times and it didn’t help), old building, packages stolen, right next to a sketchy area (weird people at night), far from a subway stop”
