“Pros: management is very responsive. I broke my stove and they replaced it quickly with a new & nicer one. super/building manager also very responsive & nice, and he keeps the building clean. super nice neighbors and lots of people my age living in the building. Cons: only 2 washer/dryers which are frequently being used. roach problem multiple times, there is a pest sign up sheet but no one ever came on the date we signed up. broker fee is absolutely nuts, 15% of a full years rent”

“Unit 1F Pros: Quiet building on a good street and rent stabilized Cons: Our apartment is a first floor duplex and floods every time a big rain comes. We have had ceiling leaks, mice, plumbing problems, etc. with very little help from management Advice to landlord: Be more responsive”

“Unit 2E Pros: Overall a nice building in a fantastic location. Well-maintained laundry and elevator in the building. Nice finishes in my apartment (stainless steel appliances, updated bathroom, huge closets). Management is hands off and won’t interfere with your life. Cons: Regular building maintenance went undone for the majority of my yearlong lease, things as simple as changing lightbulbs in the halls or clearing items left in the hallways. Management was never responsive when I contacted them with questions. Luckily I never had any truly urgent issues that needed action from them.”

“Pros: Laundry and elevator and in an amazing location Cons: What heat? Not all apartments have been updated. Some don’t have ovens. Facing the street can get loud. Advice to landlord: Get a better pest person and update the apartments”

“Pros: Rent stabalized, elevator, in building washer and dryers, intercome system, amazing location Cons: All the units are pretty small, lack of closets, the bulding is north facing so if youre in the front of the building you get no sunlight, walls are extremely thin and cheap drywall is used (so its really hard to hang anything on the walls without them falling out) the floors tend to be slanted bwcause its an old building Advice to landlord: None really a pretty tpical nyc apartment”
