“Unit 5D Pros: New amenities - washer/dryer, dish washer, exposed brick! Cons: - Intercom system is broken! You have to go downstairs (no elevator) to open door for guest or to pick up deliveries - Garbage has to be dropped off in basement. You have to go down metal staircase which is dangerous! - Packages get stolen! - Water pressure sucks - Management sucks Advice to landlord: Fix the intercom system, improve the building.”

Management was good about responding to emails and the super was attentive! Cons: Constantly had issues with hot water here and the water pressure is horrendous. The walls are paper thin, so if you have loud neighbors, plan to be up as long as they are. (I could hear fights from our neighbors constantly at 2am) There are also groups of dirt bikes that ride up and down 145th, so if you hate constant, loud noise, do NOT move here. This building has TERRIBLE luck with packages being stolen. Either someone from USPS or within the building would steal any package that entered the building. Multiple tenants had police cases open for this issue, and management claimed it was an “area problem, not a building problem”. There are also six floors in this building, but no elevator. The first floor has no apartments, so if you live on the 4th or 5th floor, it’s actually a 5th and 6th floor walk up. Advice to landlord: Listen to your tenants and actually try to make this building a nice one to live in!”
— 2500 ADAM C POWELL BLVD · Manhattan“Pros: Management and super are responsive to inquires and issues. Intercom can be used to get in and makes letting people into the building convenient. Common areas are cleaned and garbage is taken out regularly. Cons: Intercom doesn’t always work. Advice to landlord: No advice for the property owner.”
