“Pros: Minimal rent increase despite not stabilized Cons: Loud surroundings, heat takes a while to kick on effectively Advice to landlord: Consider tenant requests, or at least the ones that also benefit you.”

“Pros: Clean building, well maintained, and with spacious apartments. Convenient location and a friendly neighborhood. Good heat management and the building owners are actually good about responding to requests or questions. Cons: Thin walls which means you hear a LOT. Everything from arguing couples, to barking dogs, or people barreling down the stairs. Advice to landlord: Keep it up, and leave rent prices alone.”

“Unit 4F Pros: The apartment itself is nice. Maintenance responds to requests usually within the week, which isn’t helpful when an essential item, like your toilet or washing machine, need assistance. Cons: - neighbors steal your packages - mice in the building - noisy neighborhood at times”

“Unit 4F Pros: Good price for the amenities provided (laundry, heat/hot water included in rent). Floor plan is spacious. Located within 5 blocks of two different red line stops. Super is very friendly and responsive! Submitting a maintenance request through the tenant portal takes a very long time, but the super himself is very efficient. Cons: Apartment was dirty when handed off, and multiple areas needed repairs (bathroom sink, dishwasher, living room radiator). There is a tenant in the building who steals packages, and management has not figured out who. You will have to deal with the police to hopefully get it resolved. Management is hard to get a hold of both through email and the tenant portal. Advice to landlord: Update tenants proactively/regularly when a relevant issue arises.”
