“Pros: Large apartments, roof access, friendly super, communal washers/dryers in building, pet friendly Cons: Pest management could be better (despite twice monthly extermination), building management sucks at responding to emails Advice to landlord: Management staff need to be more on top of responding to emails in a timely manner OR answering their phones when called”

“Pros: Great location, great doorman, super and porter. Huge unit Cons: Terrible vermin problem. Constant water issues where they are turning it off for days at a time. Management company so hard to get a hold of, it would take me 3 weeks to get in touch with a person. Advice to landlord: Tear down the building and start over.”

“Unit PH B Pros: The super is very helpful, respectful and responsive. The building could be charming but the management company invests no money in it. Cons: There are many pests (rats, mice + bugs), There is a rent stabilized tenant who exposes himself in public areas of the building but there are no working cameras in the building so they can’t prove it (witnessed first hand). There have been water leaks for at least a year that have not been properly fixed so everytime it rains there’s more water damage, mildew and mold. My bathroom ceiling has fallen three times now in 8 months. Advice to landlord: Literally do everything differently”
