“Pros: This building is in a great neighborhood, close to the action of the east village but on a quiet street. The apartment has a lot of light and the common area is huge. Cons: Packages are just left out in the hallway when delivered. The bathroom has a weird tub that takes up like 2/3 of the bathroom, which makes the layout a bit bizarre.”

“Pros: The building is usually very clean, trash is stored outside, super is around and responsive (usually), landlord is super responsive and will help out when he can. Noise levels are good but sometimes there is noise in the trash pit (nothing crazy!) Overall a great building! Cons: The apartment gets SO hot. Not sure if it was just our unit but I was sweating all winter due to the radiator poles. Advice to landlord: Heat control!”

“Pros: great management that’s quick to respond and fix things, friendly live in super, great location Cons: bathroom outdated but that was just my unit, packages tend to get stolen Advice to landlord: cameras in the stairways for safety and theft”

“Pros: Alan was a great owner/management company to work with. Very fair and considerate, which is rare in NYC. Cons: Walk-up; Our apartment had a really strange layout!”

“Unit 9 Pros: Alan is an all around great landlord. Fixes any issue immediately and very responsive and willing to work with you. People in the building are good too, a little louder on the weekends but nothing crazy. Quiet during the week Cons: Hallway is a little outdated. But has character”

“Unit 14 Pros: Great location, great landlord Cons: We had issues with cockroaches, the landlord very promptly sent out an exterminator but he only sprayed our apartment so they continued to come back”
