— 2568 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Unit 5A Pros: Doorman, good price, good heat Cons: Lots of mice Advice to landlord: Pest control”
— 2568 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Unit 3B Pros: All doormen are amazing, management responds quickly to requests and it's clean and quiet. Cons: Heat in the winter is loud and inconsistent. They've been having recent issues though so it's hard to say whether it's an ongoing problem”
— 226 WEST 97 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: - Two blocks from Central Park - Finished apartment and appliances (it looked nice) - Right next to the 1/2/3 Cons: - As you can tell by the title, the building has a mice problem. We had an exterminator visit our apartment every month to no avail. In fact the problem got worse so now we’re breaking our lease. PLEASE save yourself the hassle and do not rent here. For the amount of money you pay, you’ll get a mice problem and a shit exterminator who will ask YOU where the holes in the walls are. - The super is extremely condescending, all of my roommates had individual experiences with him and none of them were pleasant. - When we tried to break our lease early without penalty (citing the mice problem) the leasing agency had the nerve to say they had violated none of NYC’s Health and Safety codes because they “tried” by sending their shitty exterminators. Advice to landlord: Get rid of the mice in your building before charging tenants thousands of dollars in rent and refusing to let them break their leases without thousands of dollars in penalties.”
— 2568 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Pros: Location, lobby, concierge, newly renovated apartment Cons: Filthy hallways and garbage , pot and cigarette smoking all over building, mo window screens, old double windows so no a/c, water pressure and temperature bad. Advice to landlord: Clean up the building. Get pest control. Get rid of pot and cigarette smoking, give heat and better hot water and water pressure, redo your filthy hallways”
— 2568 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Pros: Looks modern and spacious Cons: The management is unresponsive and unpleasant to deal with. We had multiple issues that took weeks of emailing and calling to fix. Most significant was had mice and it took weeks for any action to be taken. The apartment was made quickly and although it looks redone, the shortcuts taken are evident in uneven flooring, cracks between the walls, and other issues. The doors and ceilings are thin and every noise comes through. The hallways have peeling wallpaper, dirty carpets and smell awful. Paying a ridiculous amount considering the above factors. The super is a jerk and doesn’t know what he’s doing half the time. He charges high prices for basic things. Advice to landlord: Be more responsive to tenants. Get rid of mice. Clean up hallways!”
— 2568 BROADWAY · Manhattan“Pros: Doorman is very friendly, building is clean Cons: Pests and very small apartments for a high price. I had a stranger breaking in to my apartment and never received an apology. Pests were not managed after a month of insisting and personal items were damaged by the rodents. Upon arrival the apartment was not clean, it even had a dead cockroach”
