“Pros: perfect location, great starter apartment, love the layout of some of the units Cons: Management, construction going on right now is SO LOUD, walls are paper thin, swooping floors Advice to landlord: Listen to your tenants and actually fix things”

“Pros: Close to L Cons: Overpriced considering there are 0 amenities. No closets in the entire apartment. Hot water constantly shut off. Had numerous cockroaches and mice. Packages were often stolen. Door to enter was so loud and creaky. Gaps in flooring and whole apartment was slanted. I have no idea how they get away with charging this much for so little. All around awful.”

“Unit 6 Pros: Fun neighborhood for a young renter Cons: Lived here for 2 years and had literally dozens of mice and a roach infestation. Was living here during Hurricane Sandy and after that we would have heat/hot water maybe one day a week for the rest of the time I lived there. And management was just unresponsive about the whole thing Advice to landlord: I don’t even know, maybe tear it down and start over again?”

“Unit 26 Pros: The building is in a very accessible location, easy for public transport, noise levels are great with some noise from the bar downstairs, nothing crazy. Pretty young building, post-college early 30's. Cons: SO... Ksenia and the management team are severely neglectful of property management. In our short time here, the heat and hot water have been shut off with zero warning, ranging from a week to two weeks. The building is old and needs upkeep to start, but the management DID NOT COMPENSATE for any of the days in which their legal obligation was not fulfilled. Simply, you can get a lot better for the price they're charging. The place is falling apart and the management is very neglectful and selfish. Advice to landlord: please do better, there are people living here. Our apartment cannot be 30 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle of November. And stop ripping people off. 5.3k for a three-bedroom in this place? good luck.”

“Pros: BEST location ever so close to L and target and trader joes. Couldnt ask for a better spot Cons: Definitley a fly problem. There was an issue with the hot water but I think they fixed it. Having a live-out super is a bit annoying also. There are no amenities Advice to landlord: Fly traps!”

“Pros: Location is close to the L train Cons: Always dirty, no amenities whatsoever and way over priced for competing apartments. Things always broke and management is not responsive.”

“Pros: In the east village Cons: There were roaches and they had terrible pest control, the building went through like 4 supers in the one year I lived here, and I didn't have gas in my stove for 3 months after moving in Advice to landlord: Get a real exterminator and clean up the garbage area”

“Pros: Cheapest rent, nice layouts, they cleaned up and refreshed the hallways and out in key fobs (those had issues though) Cons: My apartment hadnt been redone in years, I once had a mushroom pop out of my bathroom wall (and I was on the 6th fl) I had a roof leak they never fully fixed. They would prevent it from further leaking every year and paint over the black stain (pretty sure there was mold) my whole apartment slanted drastically and my neighbors used to smoke in the stairwells and once when the electricity for the building went out I was completely locked out of the building since they switched to key fobs and it ran on electricity Advice to landlord: I know you are cleaning up a lot of the apartments, I would refresh them all- look into the building slanting and get working cameras to keep people from smoking in the hallways (particularly the straits leading up to the roof) and stealing packages”
