210 LIVINGSTON ST. OWNER LLC. · avg 4.1 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Unit 11C Pros: The building staff are super friendly and try their best, but management is horrible! Cons: Management is horrible! Building had roach infestation and people smoking cigarettes despite it being a non smoking building and management was unable to address either problem. Advice to landlord: Pest control; enforce non-smoking”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Newer building, not far from lots of subway stations, good amenities, fairly quiet, staff is responsive Cons: Low-income residents are a bit unruly, location is on busy street above Hoyt/Schermerhorn station”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Nice location and subway Cons: Poor management in building”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Unit 3u Pros: Location, amenities, staff Cons: Increasing amenity fee, "upgrades" that are not necessary”
“Pros: Location is great with the ACG right underneath. Cons: Wall is too thin and neighbors are noisy”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Lovely apartment design, with huge windows and hidden HVAC units. Convenient subway access, grocery store across the street. Most of the staff are kind and helpful. Cons: Some major security/safety concerns with tenants themselves as well as activity on Hoyt Street. There is a lot of questionable traffic in and out of the building. Needs to pay for real security in the lobby, but building management is too cheap to even properly staff the package room so the doormen can focus on the lobby doors. A pervasive problem with smoking. Shared ventilation means that you smell and hear everything from your neighbors. Windows are filthy and have never been cleaned. There aren't enough elevators for a 26 story building, and one or two always seem to be down. Water system is incredibly faulty and goes down every few months. There are many other comparably priced buildings in the neighborhood with properly staffed lobbies, better property upkeep, and significantly nicer amenities. Advice to landlord: Invest in more lobby staff to keep this building safer, instead of just creating bandaids that put the burden on tenants.”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Super convenient to the subways and transit. The doormen, porters and staff are all very nice and attentive Cons: The building has some residents that continue to cause issues, like smoking inside, and "guests" of some apartments tend to loiter in the lobby which can be annoying”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Staff here is amazing. Everyone from the front desk to maintenance is super friendly. The building itself is really nice and decently maintained. Cons: Crackheads EVERYWHERE. Low income housing comes with drug dealers (who have been raided), arrests, crack heads roaming stairways and halls Advice to landlord: Figure out how you can get rid of those who bring the quality of life down for everyone else”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: The front desk staff are excellent. The apartment unit itself is spacious. Washer/dryer and dishwasher in unit. There is a lot of common space. Cons: Not effective at responding to complaints about roaches. The a/c in the gym is always broken in the summer. This is particular to my unit, but the neighbors are extremely loud, smoke indoors, and it seems nothing can be done about it. Advice to landlord: Fix the gym AC, do more regular pest prevention.”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: central location, spacious, Cons: expensive, noisy windows, pest, not the warmest neighbors”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: 1. The building uses an app that handles service requests, package alerts, and other internal communication. 2. The people who work in the building are incredibly nice and helpful. Some of the best professionals in the city. 3. The building management is very responsive and even has an office on the second floor where someone is usually available if needed. 4. It always feels comfortable and safe coming back home to the building. Cons: 1. Sometimes the neighbors can be loud and though the building management tries to get them to be quiet, it's not always successful. 2. The A/C in gym and other communal areas sometimes go out for extended periods of time.”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Clean, modern building Rooftop terrace with grills great area for metro access and walking around management is friendly, responsive Cons: There are bad neighbors on certain floors. Ask questions and do your due diligence”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Clean, new, and ample amenities Cons: Thin walls, bad security, and ignored complaints to management”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Unit 6R Pros: The staff like Jose and Antonio were super attentive and thorough. Cons: AC in gym stopped working”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: New build, good amenities, nice doormen Cons: expensive, I can hear my neighbors Advice to landlord: make lease signing easier to understand”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Is in a great location for public transportation. Beautiful lobby and great concierge. Great spacious kitchen and perfect for storage. Cons: Cheaply built and finishes! You can hear the neighbors and too much noise.”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: convenient location; top-notch appliances; nice gym Cons: Interior construction quality is not the best; noise level is pretty high due to construction at Macy’s and 11 Hoyt; some staffs can be lukewarm from time to time”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: New Great app Great amenities Clean Location is convenient Obsessed with my apartment Friendly doormen and staff Professional and responsive Cons: Honestly nothing I can think of. It’s the best apt I’ve lived in in NYC and maybe anywhere. Advice to landlord: Nothing I’m very happy here.”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Lot of amenities. Gym, rooftop, doorman, w/d in unit. Maintenance. Lounge. Light hardwood floors are beautiful. Neighborhood is within minutes of Trader Joe’s, target and 15 minutes from Brooklyn bridge (west) and prospect park (east). Friendly doormen and maintenance staff. Water, heat, power and internet work well. Cons: Takes forever to get an elevator but due to COVID. Marijuana smells from neighbors come through vents even though it’s strictly no smoking. W/d and dishwasher break down frequently but fixed easily by maintenance. Sometimes can hear neighbors upstairs. Advice to landlord: Keep up the good work!”
— 210 LIVINGSTON ST · Brooklyn“Pros: Beautiful building with amenities, in unit W/D, doorman Great lighting with huge windows Cons: Noisy neighbors Street noise and construction for the last two years Management does not negotiate Advice to landlord: evict bad tenants”
