“Pros: Price point is reasonable and apartment has recent updates. Close to subway. Walking distance to Trader Joe's and Target. Cons: Stairs and hallways aren't the cleanest. Advice to landlord: Deep clean the stairs and 1st floor by mailbox area.”

“Pros: Close to subway (not the vibe after dark) Cons: So many cons. Mice. Mice in my bed… and we kept it as clean as possible. Oven never worked, place was sooo small, bedrooms could basically only fit a bed, so many stairs, water would stop, idk just ugh. Roof top access shoumd have been illegal Advice to landlord: Do better maybe”

“Pros: The location is great. The units get a lot of sunlight. Windows on both sides of the apartment let a lot of light and breeze in. Updated/remodeled kitchen. Cons: The bathroom is very old and disgusting. You aren't given proper front door keys and have to rely on a call box. The "amenities" that are advertised, tenants are never given access to. (The basement/courtyard area.) The stretch the super too thin, he's in charge of way too many properties to be effective, Serious rent hikes at the end of your lease term. Additionally, They have clearly divided the unit from the original floorpan, (to accommodate more tenants) resulting in a somewhat bizarre floorpan. Advice to landlord: Offer tenants access to the amenities they were initially promised, and don't raise the rent so drastically with out following it up with an increase in quality.”

“Pros: Cute apartment. Remodeled kitchen and bathroom. No roaches or mice. Great, fun location. Cons: The apartment gets hot in the summer! Numerous power outages in the summer. 2 ACs for 2 bedrooms were too much for our electricity to handle. Had to wait for the super to come turn the power on. Our windows don’t stay open without being propped up and can easily fall out of the frame. Reported to super (who is not consistently responsive) multiple times and still not fixed. Residents don’t have access to the basement or outdoor space as advertised. The fridge has drainage issues.”

“Pros: Location. Location. Location. Cons: Common areas, such as basement and courtyard, are not really available to tenants as promised. Hallways and stairwells are not regularly cleaned. Expect exponential rent hikes (about 85% rent increases). Yes, you read that right. Advice to landlord: Most windows are broken. Not all heat radiators work appropriately. Electrical wiring is outdated and often leads to power outages, especially during heat waves where more than one a/c unit needs to be used for a 1+ bedroom apt.”
