“Pros: Storage space in the units, lots of natural light Cons: Loud neighbors, old and only one laundromat, dirty building”

“Pros: Building was recently built and not falling apart. Much better quality than a lot of the neighborhood Has a laundry and dryer in basement. Units are decently sized. Landlord and super are responsive and friendly. Building is decently taken care of and clean. My unit came with an AC Cons: Loud construction noise the last year. Only one washer and dryer in basement. Had a roach problem last year (which the landlord immediately called an exterminator to rectify). Unit wasn’t the cleanest when we moved in. Landlord jacked the rent pretty significantly in 2022. Units have not been renovated since construction. My unit was always hot in the winter, even though we can control the heat. Utilities seemed pretty high (especially gas) Advice to landlord: Make the units nicer and add in more laundry machines to justify your rent increases”
