★★★★★Jan 2024

“Pros: A solid building where, with some notable exceptions (during construction) the hallways were kept clean and pest control came every month. Cons: Serious issues with the boiler/heating system that led to water hammer in the radiators that was never truly fixed by the time I vacated. Advice to landlord: Please invest in your radiators.”

“Pros: Diverse neighbors, one of the bedrooms is very large and gets a lot of sun. Cheap for the amount of space. Close to a train line. Cons: Paper thin walls/floors where you can hear your neighbor sneeze (amongst all the other things). Cheap reno made to look nice where things have deteriorated over time. Mice, roaches, bugs in general (though management will send someone if you notify). Right next door to a big party house with full PA speakers and DJ nights. Advice to landlord: Invest in long term solutions and building improvements instead of bandaid fixes and you’ll be able to keep good tenants for longer.”

“Pros: The apartment itself is spacious and there's laundry in the building Cons: No free fumigation and we did have a few issues with cockroaches in the winter, and almost an ant infestation in the room closest to the backyard during the spring. Advice to landlord: Fumigate and make sure to seal the rooms”
