“Unit B Pros: The apartment is decent…. It’s not too small, but not big. No issues with any sort of bugs. I would say the standard Brooklyn apartment. Landlord is hard to get a hold of at times. Sometimes going days without a response. Cons: The main reason why I recommend no one to live in the building are the overhead speakers. Each apartment for some reason has speakers built in to the ceiling which at first is a cool feature until you realize how loud and disruptive it is to be the person on the other side of the ceiling. I asked my downstairs neighbor to lower the volume once and they have but even STILL I can hear it all the time. There’s honestly nothing I can do besides telling them to never use it? I can feel the vibration of the music through my floors at times. It’s such a joke. Advice to landlord: Disable all speakers.”

Cons: The landlord is a scammer. He ignored me for months after I moved out and refused to return my security deposit. The law requires a security deposit to be returned within 14 days of the end of the lease and he only returned it 3 months later after I filed a complaint with the attorney general and threatened to sue him multiple times. Advice to landlord: follow the law so you don't end up in court”
