— 183 CLAREMONT AVENUE · Manhattan“Unit 4A Pros: The Super kept this property spotless! Garbage management was best I’ve seen in since living in NYC. Felt safe in the building. I had a recently renovated unit, unsure how other units were. Cons: Other tenants personal cleanliness in question. I believe this was the possible cause of pest issues. Luckily, it hadn’t become an issue while I was a tenant. Ownership was overcharging for rent in comparison to neighboring buildings. Advice to landlord: Be fair with your tenants and employees!”
— 183 CLAREMONT AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: everything! local restaurants, cleanliness, lighting, elevator, and the live-in super is awesome Cons: water bugs are present in my apartment, but they're manageable Advice to landlord: move in soon!”
— 183 CLAREMONT AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Some of the apartments were renovated, while others were pretty old. Great location, two blocks away from the 125th and Broadway metro. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Less than 10 minutes walk from Columbia University. Rent wasn’t too high for the area. Cons: Building manager wasn’t as responsive. Some of the apartments were old and had only 1 bath for 3 bedroom apartments. No washer and dryer in the building and nearby area. Advice to landlord: Some of the apartments need to be renovated and please add washers and dryers in the building, if feasible.”
