“Pros: Neighbours are friendly. My apartment was spacious. Lots of restaurants, bars, cafes and gyms right at the doorstep. Very close to Trader Joe's. A block away from Central Park which is great if you like to go for runs like I do. Building management was organized and attentive. They have an app for you to put in service orders. Cons: The garbage sometimes piled up in the garbage room, which coupled with the summer heat, lead to the lobby and staircase smelling bad. Advice to landlord: Improve the management of the garbage room.”

“Unit 3B Pros: Wonderful neighbors. Beautiful prewar building. Very responsive super with online portal to submit requests. Excellent neighborhood with so much convenient to the location - Trader Joe’s, fairway, and plenty of restaurants. Even a massive movie theater that often hosts premiers. Cons: Horrible noise from the construction of the iceberg mansion a few doors down (google iceberg mansion upper west side to read about it in the times). The megacorp that owned the building when I lived there (Aimco) was AWFUL. They nickel and dimed for everything and notoriously tried to run out some long time tenants with invasive construction. They have since sold the building to a new management company but I hear they are no better. Advice to landlord: Treat your tenants like human beings.”
