“Pros: Prewar building so decent sized rooms Cons: Badly (aka not) maintained Leaks everywhere and all the time Nothing is done after leaks to ensure everything dries properly Management and super sweep everything under the rug and don’t want to fix anything Management claims lead has been remediated while untrue Door and doorbell constantly broken Strange odors in apartment even when cleaned, not sure where this is coming from Toxic Advice to landlord: Sell this building to someone who cares to maintain it and cares about the health of the tenants. Don’t kill tenants and affect their health by poor maintenance and neglect.”

“Pros: The neighbors are friendly. We have a new building manager, Tony, who seems to finally be doing something positive after years of a terrible woman called Rebecca Garcia who would never respond to any form of communication. Cons: Years of cutting corners and neglect by building manager (Rebecca Garcia). The super is hands down the worst I've ever suffered; he makes excuses and tries to convince you there isn't a problem with whatever you are trying to have fixed. Stairs and lobby are constantly a mess as the he never cleans properly/consistently either— he is beyond lazy. Our buzzer/intercom system is literally falling apart and is not reliable. Advice to landlord: Get a competent, skilled super who is willing to actually work. Invest in a fob-door key system and buzzer.”

“Pros: Close to the station Cons: Pretty much abandoned for years… not maintained properly. Advice to landlord: Glad finally the manager changed. Hope things are better.”

“Pros: There are none this entire building needs work. Cons: This company refuses to turn on the heater and hot water specially when its 30 degrees out and I have small children. the super is a suck up to all the people above him. The building itself is bery disgusting and no one cleans the hallways maybe once every 2 weeks. Did I mention it is freezing in the room. I tried saying something and nothing was done about it thinking about calling 311. Advice to landlord: Please turn on the heater and how water and dont think people will not notice if you turn off the heat at 1:00am. Please have the super clean everyday if we all do our part this virus can leave. Also, stop being cheap and fix the units.My mom and I have more than 20 years here and bave never compalined about heat until the past 2 years when they changed the super.”

“Pros: I like the location Cons: Doesn’t keep up with maintenance. Need to address problem asap not a year later !!! Please remodel and fix tenants issues they have. I know it’s an old building. But tenants deserve to live in a nice environment. Rats coming out the floors is still an issue. And flooring, walls, bathroom and everything is not good ! Advice to landlord: Get things fixed!”
