“Pros: good location - that’s it Cons: Had a terrible mouse problem and had to threaten legal action before management would do anything useful about it. Packages would get stolen sometimes or dropped at an unsecured fed ex checkpoint Advice to landlord: Hire a different/better pest management company”
— 177 BLEECKER STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Location was nice, but the building is not worth the rental prices. Cons: The hot water goes out at least once a week, and because the super does not live nearby (which is illegal) it takes forever for it to be resolved. My apartment always had mice no matter what I did, and pest control was useless. The building is so old there are just mouse holes everywhere that are impossible to fill. Super noisy if you face the street. They also just recently started using crazy AI/staged photos for their listings that look NOTHING like the actual unit! So misleading Advice to landlord: Get a super who actually lives nearby and stop faking listing photos.”

— 177 BLEECKER STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The supper is amazing. Hands down to Albert. Cons: Where do I begin… the place hasn’t been updated since the 80s. The management don’t give a shit about you and will happy let you wait for essentials like having the ability to cook/heating for months. There are cockroaches, mice, and bed bugs in the building. They do pest control and seem to take it some sort of seriously but doesn’t stop the mice from coming back. I think I had 15 dead mice in total in the apartment. Oh the reason why I called the title the slaughter house is for two reason - the inside somehow reminds me of a slaughterhouse (tiled bedroom) and the slaughter of all the mice. Don’t recommend moving here 🌚 Advice to landlord: Maybe just give up property management? Clearly not for you.”
