“Pros: Garbage is orderly, private balconies, modern ish fixtures, not too much noise, everything is good enough and pretty standard in this building. Cons: Management and maintence can be really hard to get in contact with and can take a very long time to address an issue. The shared spaces (stairs, hallways, laundry) meet the bare requirements and are never cleaned or maintained- dust, dirt and marks all over the walls and floor, only the first floor is “freshly” painted. Heat and hot water routinely goes out for a day or two every few months. Only one laundry machine that barely works and is never serviced and pretty unusable. Advice to landlord: It’s a decent building, but could be a great building with a little effort and additional care - new laundry machines and more of them, spruce up/ clean the shared spaces regularly, reliable maintence contacts and quicker help would go a long way!”
