“Unit 7 Pros: The building has a great super. Cons: This is the worst unit I have ever rented. The restaurant downstairs turns into a night club 4-5 days out of the week. Good luck getting sleep when they are pounding bass until 4AM. Do not live here if you value your sleep.”
— 200 GRAND STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Attentive super, clean common areas, friendly neighbors for the most part Cons: We do get bugs however a pest guy comes once a week to spray units that need it, one noisy neighbor I can’t stand”
— 200 GRAND STREET · Manhattan“Pros: I have nothing nice to say. Cons: During my tenure here, I had cockroaches, issues with heat and extremely difficult management who also don’t treat their superintendents or porters well so there is high staff turnover. The walls are paper thin so I constantly heard my neighbors fighting. If you look up Solil, you will see similar reviews to mine. The owners are billionaires and notoriously cutthroat to the point where, after their father (Solil founder) died, his two children sued their own mother to reduce her share of the estate to 1/3. Advice to landlord: Why are you in the property business? Please sell.”
