— 147 MAUJER STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Great views if you're up high enough, nice roof, nice neighborhood Cons: Only one elevator which reliabily breaks every other month. Often takes far too long to be fixed. I lived on the ninth floor and had to take the stairs for a week and a half one time. Thin walls. Heat isnt great. Advice to landlord: Fix the fucking elevator”
— 147 MAUJER STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 7A Pros: - great location - great view - great apartment layout - on a quiet street Cons: - elevator breaks down at least once a month. It usually get fixed in a day but one time it took a week - management is very slow and unresponsive took weeks or months for things to get sized - the washers in the basement are dirty and leave stains on your clothes every time you do laundry - the dryers either don’t dry your clothes or burn holes on them. have to take our laundry to the laundromat - took them 5 months to give me my security deposit Advice to landlord: please have more empathy and kindness for your tenants”
— 147 MAUJER STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: The apartments are nice, bright, clean, and spacious. The building is in a great location. The super is basically a saint. Cons: Management routinely ignores emails and phone calls from tenants. Elevator constantly out of service or causing tenants to become stuck inside. Gas services were cut off abruptly once for about a week, with no notice from management until days later. Packages often stolen from lobby. Tenants leave their trash behind in the lobby and stairwells where it goes uncleaned for days at a time. Management has restricted amenity access to punish the entire building for the violations of one tenant. Management attempted to raise rent by an illegally high amount at lease renewal when the apartments are rent stabilized. Advice to landlord: Take a nice long introspective look at yourself and try to be a slightly better human being.”
— 147 MAUJER STREET · Brooklyn“Unit No Pros: Apartment units are nice. Spacious bedrooms, lots of storage and cabinet space. Cons: Management sucks. Elevator breaks down often with no care from management. Tenants have gotten trapped for multiple hours. Laundry machines are terrible. Washers have never been cleaned out and leaves lint on your clothes. Dryers do not try. Laundry is too expensive for machines that don’t even do the bare minimum. Gym equipment looks like it was stolen from other gyms Advice to landlord: Spend on improving elevator, cleaning laundry machines, improving gym equipment”
