“Pros: It's nice, good location, lots of sunlight Cons: Very very loud. First floor is right above a bar Advice to landlord: None”
— 141 AVENUE A · Manhattan“Pros: Right next to park so nice Cons: So loud. The bar downstairs shakes the rooms Advice to landlord: Nothing you guys are great”
— 141 AVENUE A · Manhattan“Pros: Very good location! Cons: Extremely noisy (neighborhood and the bar downstairs), you can hear absolutely everything in the building (neighbors!). The trash area is too small for 8 units. The super is not responsive at all.”
— 141 AVENUE A · Manhattan“Unit 4 Pros: i really liked that there arent a lot of units in the building, and if you tell the landlord something needs to be fixed he responds fast and things can be taken care of that day or the next day. 9th st gets noisy but the bed room is facing another buildings court yard so its quieter. Cons: i didnt like that the garbage room is inside the building because sometimes it starts to smell. and i saw a rat in there once but once i told management they took care of it pretty quickly. also my door knob had broken like 4 times which is annoying they just dont replace it with a new one instead of just fixing it repeatedly. Advice to landlord: have been security for packages sometimes over night random people come inside somehow and steal packages”
— 141 AVENUE A · Manhattan“Pros: Location, landlords, space Cons: Street noise can be a lot on weekends”
— 438 EAST 9 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Landlord was surprisingly responsive to anything we emailed about, plus I know from our neighbors and my own experience- always returns the security deposit. The super and porter weren't on site, BUT were friendly and very responsive. The neighbors all got along and the apartments are pretty big for the east village. Roof access which overlooks the park! Cons: The area is pretty insane, but obviously that's the east village. We enjoyed that part. The trash is kept in a closet on the first floor BUT the porter takes it out regularly. Advice to landlord: None right now”
