“Unit 2B Pros: No pros with the building. Cons: The building is run-down with paint chips and stains on walls and floors. Needle tops and empty shot bottles found in the entry way. Occasional puddling and urine in the entry. Garbage builds up quickly, is disorganized, and attracts many rats. Management is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with. First month of lease, washing machine broke and was not fixed until over 1 month. Again 8 months later, huge cockroach infestation was not managed at all. Still ongoing for 1+ months. Advice to landlord: Have a phone number that functions that tenants can call to actually reach a human to get answers. Tickets are not efficient if no one answers them.”

“Pros: Location, size, gorgeous light, rent stablized/controlled if I remember correctly. One of the guys who cleaned the sidewalk/occasionally the stairs was so so nice. Cons: Large management company, impossible to get in touch with, angry supers, reoccurring pest problems with no solution, long term tenants are being absolutely f’d and treated horribly as it’s rent stabilized. Unfortunately the rent did not make up for the headaches caused by dealing with mgmt/pests/constant water damage/mold repairs.”
