— 132 EAST 17 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: It’s located in the heart of the city. Being so close to union square is a dream. The actual apt has tall ceilings, bright white walls, and it feels safe even without a doorman. Cons: I’ve never lived anywhere else in NYC so maybe all older building have this problem, but the pipes in the bathroom are constantly rattling and banging. Advice to landlord: It would be convenient if the super had texting or email. He speaks Spanish and since I don’t speak Spanish, there’s a communication barrier over the phone.”
