“Pros: Good location close to nolita and soho. Lots of restaurants around. Cons: Insanely loud heat pipes, they sound like someone is hitting them with a hammer for 10 min every hour. It’s so loud that the walls are shaking making it impossible to sleep. Everything in the building is done so cheaply that it always breaks and falls apart. Everything the management does makes things worse. I wouldnt wish renting here on my worst enemy. Advice to landlord: Sell the building to someone who can take care of it.”

She'll say things like "Oh, I don't think they'll let me do that", but when in reality she is the owner of the building. - Strange mix between older residents who have been in the building for decades and very young tenants. Makes for a strange dynamic. - It's a very old building, and the surrounding area is a bit dirty. The building has been well-maintained over the years, but it's still a bit too dirty.”
