“Pros: This is one of the few old affordable buildings left in Williamsburg. Cons: It is unfortunately infested with roaches and rats. Some tenants are extremely loud and no one stops them. The hallways and surfaces are not washed regularly, the front door does not lock unless pulled shut, there were a few months where the front door was completely missing a lock. This block has gang activity, gunshots, fireworks, loud music into the late hours of the night. Sometimes there are so many people hanging out outside, you can’t even pass through the sidewalk. The superintendent does not take adequate care of the building or the area outside the building. Advice to landlord: Elect a more effective superintendent who cares to do a good job and doesn’t lie to you.”
