“Pros: Had a two year lease (spring 2021-spring 2023) on a 2bed/2bath at this property. The building itself is great (with prewar idiosyncrasies, of course) -- gracious floor plans, well maintained, good staff, no issues with pests or maintenance. Cons: They raised our rent 30% and we moved out. Excessive, but understandable, I guess -- we had a covid deal, and a lot changed between spring 2021 and 2023. But the move out process was hellish: constant refusal to give us information about our security deposit, new deductions added over the course of our final weeks without rhyme or reason, and even a forged signature on the move out inspection. Ultimately had to threaten litigation and a police report to get our full security deposit back.”
