110 GREENWICH I LLC AS TENANT IN COMMON, 71.48% · avg 3.0 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: the location was good, gym in building, very clean Cons: management very bad at communication, they are removing all windows on lot facing units”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Unit 11B Pros: Apartment was nice and came in good condition - we never had trouble with deliveries/moving. Neighbors were quiet, doormen very nice. Cons: Elevators broke down sometimes, there was a package thief because the doorman wasn't 24h.”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Super is helpful, good deal for the size Cons: Doorman is not 24/7”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Tall ceilings and great location, no pest issues, pets allowed Cons: Management is horrible, neglectful and not responsive at all. They will not fix anything. The building is essentially a frat house with insane parties on the top floors. High turnover of building staff. The doorman is not full time, but he is nice and helpful. Water damage, leaks, and mold in the walls. Shoddy renovation, looks nice but the construction is bad and just about everything that could, broke in the apartment. Advice to landlord: Stop spending money on furniture for the tiny rooftop and repair the damage tenants are complaining about”
“Pros: Rooftop, gym, newer appliances, and always pretty clean Cons: Very loud from second floor and lots of construction around the building”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Rooftop Gym Laundry in building Cons: Slow response time Ac unit is weird”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Unit 5a Pros: Really well maintained apt with amazing super and amenities Cons: Rent was raised from 4k to 5.3k which has caused us to leave. Additionally, the heat in the winter is not good. We had to wear hoodies and winter wear everyday inside the apartment. Advice to landlord: Fix the heating issues asap”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: People who work at the building Cons: Owners/management the Torkian group is just so greedy, it’s become a frat house, constant construction Advice to landlord: Show loyalty to your tenants”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Water consistently turned off randomly with no heads up. I’ve literally see a person come in and tell the building manager that they told the building property mgmt company but no communication to the tenants or building manager. Elevator is super sketch. Chants of Anti white and Jewish ppl at night and it’s just not a safe place. Run!!”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Was a great space, area was super quiet at the time. Cons: New owners flooded our apartment doing renovations, turned off our water accidentally. Workers were renovating and did not follow noise ordinances. Hallways were trashed, roof was trashed, laundry got stolen. Never painted when we moved in. We were told we had to move out for renovations Advice to landlord: Do t get caught by the city of New York for illegally using your apartments as air bnbs and blaming the tenants.”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: super is great Cons: slow elevators sometimes”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Super was super helpful. Recently updated apartments / common areas Cons: Noise, especially if you’re on above 10th floor”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The only good part of living here was the super, Daniel. Cons: The owners don’t care about tenants. We had a leak in our ceiling for literally years. So so many issues that never were fixed because they were planning to renovate our apartment and kick us out to double our rent. Management does not communicate or answer calls or emails. Water was shut off ALL THE TIME. Elevator breaks down all the time. I got stuck in the elevator once for 45 minutes. Advice to landlord: Idk take better care of your tenants who pay your rent lol”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Renovated units, halls and lobby Close to most subway lines New but small gym in basement Cons: Walls are paper thin Owners don’t care about tenants Owners change apt #s on streeteasy to appear like new listings Listings are misleading Hotel around corner is now homeless shelter Advice to landlord: Don’t mislead prospective tenants”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“I have lived in the building for 3 years and it has rapidly gone downhill. The Management company spends no money on the building, yet raises rents by astronomical amounts yearly. Front door has glass broken and lock broken for over a month Rents to transient students, packing 4-5 in an apt. Frequent loud parties every weekend. Common areas are not well kept Mgmt company does not work on Weekends. Never any response to maintenance. Heat is always an issue.”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“I have been in the building for 3 years. Love the space and the location. However, there are frequent mechanical breakdowns with the elevator. Management company rents to transient students who tend to pack 4-5 in an apt and have loud parties on weekends. Upkeep of common areas is not of a high quality. Management doesn't "work on weekends" Super is frequently intoxicated Police rarely respond to noise complaints.”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“What building doesn't provide water? 110 Greenwich Street. The building's water often shuts off (typically from 6am to 10am - who would want to shower/operate the toilet before work) and then the management gives an excuse about a pump "turning off" - though it happens all the time and for over a year. Management provides no solutions and when the water is actually running it's insanely low pressure and the sink/shower will stop for 10 seconds and then restate. Don't bother dealing with this building or Jakobson Properties - there's a reason half this building is vacant.”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“The elevator breaks often (making the building a ten story walk-up). The windows/ceilings leak every time it rains. Management is inept and cannot fix anything, does not attempt to keep apartment in adequately livable shape. Constant construction noise from nearby construction.”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“I really enjoyed my time here. There were some issues with some bugs and the occassional rodent, but nothing I havent seen before, and they actually have a super so maintenence issues were handled. My apartment and kitchen were large and my girlfriend and i loved hanging out in the neighborhood and the roof which was quite the place to relax and enjoy the city. The windows were pretty big which to some mey be a good thing but in the winter i felt a lot of the heat escaped from them and the apartment could get very chilly. The watering holes nearby were the best in the city.”
— 110 GREENWICH STREET · Manhattan“I have lived at 110 Greenwich for almost a year now, and the place is not too shabby. The elevator can be slow at times, and did break down twice early on, but has been working fine the last few months. The lofts are nice, and have high ceilings and lots of light (depending on which Apt you see). Rooftop deck is nice, but closes at 10 or 11pm due to a complaining tenant that wants quiet at night... go figure.. The only real big downside for me was the construction noise outside, lots of it and been going on for a year now. They seem to be close to finishing the loud stuff, but you never know.”
