“Pros: Good renovations; great location Cons: Roof can be loud till 2/3am. Hallways only cleaned monthly. Recycling area can get very dirty on weekends. Rats in basement and cockroaches in hallways. Advice to landlord: Get rid of the rats and roaches; enforce roof hours”

— 100 CHRISTOPHER STREET · Manhattan“Pros: -hallway usually clean -package room there so that after a while they’re not lining the hallway -in building washer dryer (3 each) -great location -trash shoot -new appliances -neighbors are not noisy -storage room (but dirty and also extra $50/month) -outdoor patio that can fit 10 comfortably Cons: -you have to pay for laundry -the building manager is very rude. She also banned roof parties at the beginning of summer due to noise complaints but it was never really noisy. -the main building maintenance guy is nice but rarely responds (been trying to figure out if he’s sprayed for pests for the past week) -boiling hot water if you turn the handle anywhere past the middle -no a/c provided -clanky radiator in winter -the downstairs where the patio, laundry, and storage are is pretty grungy to get to. There’s been a broken mirror for a while that seems hazardous. It’s semi outdoors and I have seen two rats and a cockroach over the course of my time here Advice to landlord: The building could be cleaner and run better so listen to our concerns instead of shutting down any opposition and emailing in all caps, thanks.”
“Pros: Incredible location, great transit options. Cons: Neighborhood gets extremely rowdy and dangerous once the sun goes down. Advice to landlord: Management is quite slow to respond to any tenant and / or building issues.”
