“Pros: Apartment is beautiful, location amazing, but appliances and fixtures are ancient, dated, often not functional. Landlord is unpleasant, on-site and does not take responsibility for basic dwelling requirements. Cons: There are cockroaches, mice, very little heat in the winter, and when you complain the landlord (who lives on the main floor) is dismissive or no responsive. Advice to landlord: Hire a property manager to respond to tenant needs.”
