The super and the porter make an effort to maintain this Blace. The landlord doesn't. Too many bad apples to overshadow the good neighbors. Some smoke weed in the stairwell and the nasty smell gets in your Apace. Some leave dog poop in the entrance. Mice and water bugs all over the place. I even see mice in the lobby and entrance. This Blace has Torrendous insulation and construction. Paper thin walls and floors like nothing I’ve ever seen elsewhere. I can hear my neighbors talking - the one above, below, and to my sides. No privacy. You can hear the conversations clearly. Mice, water bugs, flies, and all kinds of nasty weird bugs get inside my Apace no matter how much I clean. People play loud music at night. Smoke from other units travels the vents and gets inside your place. Neighbors fighting in the hallways. Kids crying and screaming at all hours. Especially tons of children under age 5. They play and make loud noises in the hallways disturbing others. Homeless and drug addicts walking the streets. There's a homeless shelter a few blocks away and a soup kitchen next door. Thieves get inside and steal the packages constantly. Several derelicts live in the 2 houses in front. Rusty pipes with red water coming out. That water doesn't look safe to drink. Cheap construction. Homeless fighting outside late at night. They go in the Blace courtyard and they rummage through the garbage. It’s constantly loud at night. Hard to get decent sleep. Loud dogs barking. The landlord lies about the square footage. The apartments are actually much smaller than advertised. It’s like a revolving door. Tenants keep leaving. The electrical wiring sucks. Overall, this is the worst Blace I have ever lived in. Glad to leave. Landlord should actually pick up the phone and respond to tenant requests. Not simply ignore you.

I have lived here several years. They don't fix anything unless y r a new tenant. The super doesn't do anything for u unless u tip. You've got mice in many apts and all I got was some sticky traps. Only Great thing about mice is thst the roach problem gets better when the mice problem gets worse. They only want maximum money from you

The building super and porter genuinely try to keep this place up to standard. The property owner, sadly, doesn't. You've got simply too many problematic residents that overshadow the decent ones. Some individuals smoke marijuana in the stairwells and the stench seeps directly into your unit. Others leave their dog waste in the lobby entrance. The place is infested with mice and cockroaches throughout. I've spotted rodents crawling around in the lobby and entrance areas. The building's structural quality and insulation are abysmal. The walls and ceilings are paper-thin like nowhere else I've lived. You can make out every word your neighbors speak - those living above, below, and adjacent to you. Zero soundproofing. Conversations are audible as if they're in your own apartment. Regardless of how frequently I clean, mice, roaches, flies, and various insects continuously find their way into my space. Residents blast music at late hours. Odors from smoking units travel through the ventilation system directly into your apartment. Tenants argue loudly in the hallways. Young children shriek and cry constantly throughout the day and night. Particularly an excessive number of toddlers under five. They run around making a tremendous racket in the corridors, disrupting everyone. Drug users and homeless individuals frequent the neighborhood streets. A homeless facility operates a few blocks down and a food service operates directly adjacent. Package theft happens repeatedly as intruders access the building. Derelict individuals occupy the 2 structures across the street. Corroded plumbing produces discolored reddish water. That water appears unsafe for consumption. Poor quality construction throughout. Fights involving homeless individuals occur outside late into the evening. They enter the courtyard area and dig through the trash bins. The noise level is relentless after dark. Sleep is nearly impossible. Dogs barking constantly. The owner misrepresents the unit dimensions. Apartments are way smaller than what's listed. It's constant turnover. Residents are constantly departing. The wiring infrastructure is terrible. Without question, this is the most regrettable place I've ever resided. can't wait to move out. The owner needs to actually answer calls and respond to tenant concerns. Currently just disregards all requests.
