Unit 1B Pros: The Arlo Road grounds are well kept, I like the garbage system, clean and the landscaping is adequate for apartment living. The apartments are conveniently located to the SI Expressway, local stores, Clove Lakes and Silver Lake Parks and easy one MTA Bus Transportation Services. Cons: The laundry rooms do not operate as good as they look. Machines do not drain, dryers do not work property (not operated by the Arlo Road Management), therefore although it is an inconvenience, their laundry are conducted by their own company and they tell you they will call you and they never do. Advice to landlord: Create a picnic designated area for residents only, and lounge chairs.

Pros: Nice maintenance employees. Nice grass outside. Pet friendly. Cons: Worst washer and drier. Dirty and moldy also damaged all my clothes. I had skin issues the entire time living here. Cheap and old appliances. No heat during winter. Water pressure during showers was bad, filter is needed. TERRIBLE parking, can’t get a parking spot with the building. Can’t park outside without getting a city tickets of $115. Apartments are extremely small, rent is expensive and it goes up every year. Property owner does not reply to messages or concerns. Advice to landlord: Fix parking issues, clean washer and dryer’s more often. Improve heat during winter. Provide better communication.

Pros: Paid parking options. Laundry room Building is mopped and cleaned daily The viewing and rental was done super fast and all within the open igloo app. Tomer was very accommodating and helpful in every step of the way until I got my keys. Cons: Some tenants claim parking space as their own and claim they paid for it, but management provided me with a pass and said they were cracking down on the miss use of parking spaces. Advice to landlord: Crack down on the inappropriate use of parking spaces .

Unit 2b Pros: 4 Apts per building, some have 6 Surrounded by houses so the streets and sidewalks are maintained well Cons: Bugs, the place is poorly maintained leaving plenty of holes and gaps for critters to crawl into Mice in lawns Hornets in lawns The land is INFESTED with spotted lantern flies. The cold has killed most off now but there are plenty of eggs on the trees that will hatch come spring. Manager of building advises its not his responsibility as its a national infestation. Laundry room is always a mess. Most of the time, at least 40% of the machines are BROKEN. Plocal parking is great if you're home by 6. Anytime after is terrible. Parking spots are way overpriced Too many smokers around who smoke right in front of others windows Advice to landlord: Get a new manager to run things. Make operations smooth. Provide notice of work before its initiated. Retain your workers, maybe tenants will stay too. If we could afford to move, I'd be out as soon as humanly possible. Replace in office phone workers with people who actually know how to provide a decent level of service. Enhance accountability; nearly none exists
