Mariners Harbor sits along the Kill Van Kull on Staten Island's northwest shore. It's a working-class, industrial-edge neighborhood with affordable housing, proximity to the Bayonne Bridge, and the sprawling Showplace Square shopping center. Practical rather than picturesque.
