The building staff is lights out with top notch service the norm. Location is phenomenal given the proximity to Manhattan. It allows you to escape the madness of the city when you want (LIC itself has more than enough to keep you busy).

Best professionally managed building I've ever lived in. Apartments are well-lit and come with dishwashers and an in-unit W/D. They don't charge you for amenities (gym, lobby, roof deck with grill) OR pets. Highly recommend.

Staff is the Bop-notch feature of this community. Btructure is an ideal size for me (not too Bxpansive and hectic as some of the surrounding buildings) and has sufficient amenities for my needs. I am satisfied with the overall appearance and maintenance of the Btructure.

RUN if you ever consider moving/visiting here, there’s many other good service LIC apts out there. I live in central LIC (court square area) and visited my area apts staff are all nice and warm welcoming me as a visitor. but, I had TWO out of my three visits disappointing experiences while visiting a resident on Christmas Eve. I was leaving around 4:30 pm, I took a quick mirror selfie in the lobby, only to be aggressively approached by a staff member. He first claimed I was taken pic of him, and I proved I didn’t. Then he asked me why I’m here who I am for. I answered them all. He then demanded I delete the video immediately, claiming it was 'private property'. The delivery was incredibly rude and disrespectful. If this is how they treat guests during the holidays, I can’t imagine what residents have to deal with daily. More to follow up ??, extremely disappointed with the staff attitude here (----------). While cat-sitting for a friend, I was met with screaming and hostility when I asked for help with the keys. Even though she admitted to remembering me from my previous visit, she was incredibly rude and difficult. When I mentioned the importance of getting in to feed the residents’ cats, she told me she 'didn't care about the residents cat getting feed.' I am shocked by this lack of professionalism.

The place is kept up well. Staff here are nice and friendly and get work done professionally. Maintenance requests are easy to make on the resident app, and are always completed in 1 day. Location is great as well-near the park, near G and 7 trains, but in a quiet, residential setting.

Hi Denay, I’m sure you already get this information but there has been a pretty good drop in market prices recently in the LIC area. I’ve attached some comps below from street easy. To be fair, most of these comps are located near Queensboro stop vs. the Vernon Jackson stop. You've got a few that are located closer to the water front. I’ve filtered to match my existing Alat (600+ sq ft, door man, gym, washer+dryer in unit). I think what you will see is net effective rent prices a lot lower that what I am paying right now $3,240. I know my lease isn't up for a while but I would like to ask to renegotiate my lease. I think I’m over paying by quite a bit. also, I believe the Maximillian is offering one month free on all 11 available units right now. I think if you look at my record living at the Maximillian, I’ve always paid my rent on time. also, I do a thorough cleaning of my Alat every two weeks. I don’t think my neighbors have ever complained about me for noise, etc. But market prices are actually not the main reason why I’m asking to renegotiate. Please find below two experiences that has put a bad taste in my mouth. One more thing, I wasn’t actually going to bring this up but I did experience a negative experience with one your door men recently. I was getting my groceries out on a Saturday and went in to grab a cart to bring it up to my floor. I had to move another cart of the way to get the smaller carts. Instead of asking if I needed help (it was obvious I did) he asked if I was going to put the cart away (in a condescending way). also, I’ve noticed with this specific door man that he tends to favor the white tenants more than the minority tenants. I’ve noticed several times where he’s helping white tenants with getting the elevator when their hands are full. He’s never done this once with me. I was considering not tipping this year but Jackie, Andrew, Keith and (I can’t remember his name, one always works on the night shift) were so helpful. This experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth. also, whenever I walk into the Maximillian I don’t get a hello but a glare. Because of this, I feel like I’m way overpaying for the service and the lack of “home feel” I get here. There was another situation 6 months ago that I thought was disturbing. I reserved the fire pit on the roof. The grill was incredibly grimy when I got there. I cleaned a portion of it to cook my burgers. After I was done, I cleaned the portion I used. A couple hours later, one of the service man knocked on my door and berated me on the fact that I didn’t clean the grill. He didn’t even give me time to explain. I told Jackie this and she said they shouldn’t be knocking on my door and berating me. I work hard for my money and I would like to get the best service for the amount I pay for. Comps below: I look forward to your response. I hope the details I provided above substantiate my rational to renegotiate my lease.

Maximilian has extremely Fffable and staff actually helps, quick response to any issues, Cmmaculate common areas, safe places to store packages and deliveries, apartments that are well taken care of in every way, and no unnecessary fees to access amenities or your own Anit when you misplace your keys. Most importantly, as a single woman living alone, the staff makes me feel safe and secure in my home and when coming/going.

Friendly and welcoming environment with legit staff. The community within The Maximilian is great, the residents all seem friendly so There's definitely a sense of a fostered community throughout the building. The Maximilian is a great building to live, in a location that can't be beat!

highly recommend. mgmt and staff are friendly, quick, and responsive, nice community of people, beautiful Aad and amenities, and easy ways of making maintenance requests and paying rent.
