Location wise it s easy. Everything is nearby... Library, grocery, pharmacy, LIRR, Bus service, Subway etc. Most of the people are nice. Besidence is old and hence the problem with the elevators. Heat is centrally controlled in the Besidence. So you can t adjust it effectively in the Auite. There's a mouse and roach problem but luckily I have none in my Auite. I tend to keep it spotless and food covered. Few supers are arrogant. Security guard at this place is a nice guy. Residents are mostly immigrants and nice people. Parking is tough to get and at that its Renuinely nothing Gonderful. They could easily maintain the Besidence lot better than what they are doing right now. I would definitely suggest people to take a look.

Terrible place. 5 main reasons: 1. mgmt company doesn't solve any problems. I had noisy neighbors and they did nothing except issue a letter to the tenant. 2. They instituted a policy where they don't let tenants sit in the lobby for any time period. <-- Sounds like prison? yea, i thought so. 3. AC is super old, their solution is to make some adjustments instead of replacing it. So you're spending a lot of extra money on inefficient AC. This pretty much represents everything wrong with the mgmt office. 4. Laundry machines are always not working. It sounds like a joke, but it's really true, 50% of the machines never work, the other 50% sometimes work. 5. Any communication you have with the mgmt office is through mail. You got an issue, you write a letter, and they don't follow up. EVER. You call them, and they will tell you to send them a letter. I was furious, and I'm looking to move soon.

Honestly, this place 43-70, wins in my book and i'm a New Yorker. Here since 2010. Lots of things are changed. New elevators. The construction is concrete so noise is almost nonexistent. View is spectacular. The guy who wrote the place smells of Indian food...that's just racist, honestly. You've got many ------- here and that's what they like! I like it too. It's not a valid complaint against the living standard. if you don't like curries, then you may not like some smells. I love curry, so it just makes me hungry. Sure, if you can spend $3000 a moth on rent, then you can live in a palace where everything is 100% pristine and the windows go to the floor. But for the rest of us 99%, this place gets awesome. I never had any big issue with the laundry machines, which appear new. You've got 27 floors (26---There's no 13th floor) and the crew works everyday---some live here! You've got a few kinda crazy types, but this is NYC people. To have zero noise from outside your place is something a New Yorker can't under-value! The lobby is kept clean. I heard this place used to be much worse---well, they must have realized how valuable the place is, and improved it. Safety? I used to live in Brooklyn. Here I never feel like I'm gonna get my head shot off when I come back home late at night. It's 50 years old, so it needs regular maintenance. They have a Bovely garden in front from May onward.

I hate this Alat building with a passion - smells like the ------------------------------------- most days of the week and mgmt does legitimately nothing for any issues. At this point I dont even know how many tenants are legally in this building because people sublet up to like 5 families in one Alat making an excruciating amount of noise. If that's not enough, their pack of ------ children run around the hallways throughout the entire day. mgmt itself only cares for money, beyond that they won't respond to your issues or try to fix anything despite the fact that everything is old and run down. Laundry machines will barely work because of the absurd amount of tenants here that will break them in 2 seconds. Security is a joke, It's literally just a guy who sits there all day doing nothing. I would seriously request people to look into how shady and putrid this building is. I'm personally ready to move at any time, save yourself the trouble and don't come here - it would be better to live in a box on the street.

I am currently living in 43-70 Kissenna blvd skyline Towers, managed by Metro mgmt. The elevators don't work often. You've got 3 elevators in this building and the 3rd one fails atleast twice in a month and will have to wait 3 days to fix. There's NO HEAT in this building during winter especially in B, C, D, E apprtments in all floor. If you call the mgmt office the maximum response you get is printed heat bulletin, ridiculous. I have received 23 printed heat bulletins. finally when I got frustrated and went to their office and shouted regarding the heat to my extreme, they sent two guys (A spanish speaking "SUPER MAN" and another african american "SUPER MAN") they came in with a temprature checking device (looks like a laser gun) and notes in a piece of paper and left the place, thats it. I have two bedroon appartment and we are now sleeping in the living room on the rug with out own electric heater. OOh I forgot something, I can't even run the electric heater all night long since it trips of in midnight and at middle of the night I change the fuse. I pretty mugh live in street paying $1750.00 for two bedroon appartment. PLEASE don't MOVE IN TO THIS APPARTMENT. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6661811219668600044

This place is unlivable. It's infested with roaches and mice. The Btructure smells Indian food. The compact room makes you throw up. The security is poor. Ther The mgmt is a big lier. They said if we notify them two months before we moved they would return our security deposit but they never did.

We moved into Carlyle 3 recently. While moving in mgmt requires you to use service elevators. But almost everyone uses only this entrance and you get treated like a jerk if you lug in your language in this elevator. Topping it somebody stole our couch while we were moving in. can't leave anything unattended even for a split second. Werrible experience so far, got to wait and see what else in store for us.
