Pros: The super is incredibly helpful and responsive. Cons: The intercom has been broken for seven months, there were daily roaches in the summer due to an infestation in the basement, and management does not respond to requests.

Unit 7A Pros: Common areas are clean, the workers are nice, heating/cooling works as expected throughout seasons Cons: Only 01 elevator for a busy building, need to share with garbage cleaning etc., super is not very responsive to fix issues with urgency. Intercom not working properly for 6months and counting

Unit 7B Pros: Almost never have to wait for a washer/dryer, and laundry is reasonably priced Free heat in the winter is great Porter is friendly and keeps the building clean Great natural light Cons: If your unit faces Crescent St, there will be construction noise. The construction is confined to normal working hours, so it's not a problem if you don't wfh. LIC in general has a lot of construction, so it's hard to avoid. Could use more closet space in the apartment Have gotten locked out of my apartment unit multiple times despite having my keys - the keys will not work every now and then, and I have to ask the doorman from next door to unlock my door.

Pros: Location is fine but the closest station is closed half of the year due to construction Cons: Management is slow to fix issues, although super is helpful.

Unit 7G Pros: Prompt management support Cons: Seems expensive for the amenities.

Pros: Super is easy to get in touch with. Great roof and BBQ’s, back facing units are very quiet. Cons: Management was horrible to deal with in the beginning. Building repairs are not well done. Moving in is a mess because unit was not cleaned well and little work done after previous tenants. Packages stolen multiple times. Windows are never cleaned. Advice to landlord: Take better care of the property because it’s a very nice building but it is not going to last if things aren’t done properly.

Pros: Decent place with a market downstairs Cons: The management company is a joke, whenever you call them, they are rude and non responsive. They are super proactive whenever you need to pay rent. The package has been stolen a few time during the year and their solution is to go downstairs to the neighboring building to pick up a package. The super is rude, doesn’t get anything done unless you push him and ask him everyday when will it be done, there was a leakage on the ceiling and it was not fixed after 6 months. If you ask him to fix anything he will note it down and vanish. Asked to terminate the lease during pandemic and agreed to pay penalties, the response from landlord is termination is not an option, you should take subletting the apartment more seriously. Advice to landlord: Be a responsible landlord, don’t show up whenever you need to collect rent but vanish whenever a tenant need some help
