Neighborhood Vibe

Ditmars-Steinway is Astoria's northern tip — the Ditmars Boulevard commercial strip has excellent Greek, Italian, and Middle Eastern food, and the neighborhood's tree-lined streets are among the most pleasant in Queens. The Steinway & Sons piano factory once defined this area.
