Pros: Elevator building that is one block away from the subway; accessible to tons of food and shopping. Good amount of space for the price and in a good nieghborhood! Cons: Super is incredibly rude; building itself can be a bit dirty

Pros: Unit was large Cons: Bugs coming out of everywhere, neighbors stomping above and have dogs barking loudly. Water pouring out of ceiling. Advice to landlord: Fix the broken ceiling and get a better way to clean the garbage.

Pros: Big units with lots of space, wonderful location near library, NYCBCH, and the train. Cons: Extremely poorly managed. No responsiveness to several emergent issues. Roaches everywhere to the point where exterminators didn't even help. Suspected illegal handling of heat. Took way too much pressure to get security deposit back.

Unit F5 Pros: The neighbors have a facebook group where we support each other and talk about how we can improve the building (since the landlord/super doesn't care) Cons: Elevator and front door lock constantly broken; people come in and steal packages (super says that's not her problem or responsibility); unhoused people come in and sleep in the stairwells. Super is one of the meanest people I've ever met: she clearly hates her job and life and makes sure everyone around feels it. I've seen her yelling f*ck you to tenants, cussed out my elderly dad just for looking in her direction (I'm serious he didn't even say anything); will not take responsibility for anything; leaves passive aggressive notes all around the hallways. She is a nightmare and the landlords do not live on property and do not care at all. I have never seen them. Not to mention pests (huge ass cockroaches); exposed wiring and paint falling off the walls in the hallways. Advice to landlord: Should all be fired and never own property again

Pros: Everyone minds their business and it isn’t too noisy Cons: Heat is too low for really cold days. It’s like they keep it a degree above the legal limit to not get in trouble. I wish the building was better maintained and cleaner. The back area should be used to throw out trash instead of putting it in a closet. Advice to landlord: Turn the heat up and create a better method to dispose of garbage instead of leaving it in the hall.

Pros: Very close to train and great selection of restaurants and shops. Cons: Very poorly maintained. Advice to landlord: Sell the building to someone who cares

Pros: The building is in a great neighborhoods for the apartments are pretty large. Cons: The ceiling falls through all the time, there is so much mold, the roaches are out of control, the super AND landlord are incredibly rude and scream at every interaction. When the super gets mad, she will dump garbage in front of your door. We look through the peep hole to make sure the super isn’t in the hallway before leaving because she always yells. The heat didn’t work for half of the winter and when I asked the Super when it would be fixed, they said “I’m not a psychic”. I would not wish living here on anyone. Advice to landlord: Have the building fixed professionally and don’t scream at all your tenants.
