Pros: This building is definitely more affordable relative to the rest of LIC but you pay for what you get! It’s still relatively new and clean and there’s laundry in building (you need to pay) and parking if you want to buy it. There’s a package “room” (more like a cage) in the garage as well. Cons: The insulation wasn’t the best so it would get cold fairly quickly if you’re on one of the outer units and the construction next door is super loud and annoying. It’s definitely on the smaller side.

Pros: Clean, standard new apartment. Bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious and appliances are new! Cons: Shared laundry machines were so bad, I had to go to laundromat Advice to landlord: None

Pros: Relatively modern and clean. Location was super convenient because it's close to a bunch of subway lines and also within biking/walking distance of Astoria and Hunters Point. Management was pretty responsive in general but a little slo at times. Cons: There was construction right next door and the noise was enough to make me want to move. Water was sometimes dirty when it came out of the faucet. There were some other small things that were a little off: no microwave/dishwasher, random placement of light switches, not a lot of storage space, etc. Advice to landlord: Fix the water situation.
